Selah ("we", "us") provides tools to turn sermons, verses, and personal reflections into custom devotionals. This policy explains what we collect, why, how we protect it, and your choices.
To generate devotionals, store your library, sync across your devices, send transactional emails (sign-in, password reset), moderate the service, and improve reliability and security. We do not sell your personal data and we do not use Your Content to train AI models without your consent.
Devotionals you explicitly share are visible to the audience you select (public link, specific users, or followers). Your notes and chat conversations are private unless you opt in per share. Public sermon notes and public church profiles are visible to everyone, including unauthenticated visitors.
We use trusted sub-processors strictly to operate Selah:
We may disclose information when legally required (subpoena, court order), to protect rights/safety, or in connection with a business transfer.
We use industry-standard safeguards (encryption in transit, row-level security on the database, scoped service credentials). No system is perfectly secure — please use a strong password and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.
Selah is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Selah is operated in the United States and may process data in the U.S. and other countries where our sub-processors operate. If you use the service from outside the U.S., you consent to this transfer. We aim to comply with applicable data protection laws (including GDPR for EEA users) and honor verified requests to access, correct, or delete your data.
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
