Main message: Communion points us back to the gospel truth that people from every nation are rescued by the same Savior, so when we share the bread and cup we remember our equal need for Christ and our future hope of being gathered before his throne. That unity is grounded in the promises of Jesus — especially the gift of the Holy Spirit — and in the truth that God is our portion and strength.
