Pray With Confidence

Main message: A brief, sincere prayer like Jabez's — asking God to bless you and enlarge your territory — is effective when rooted in a right understanding of who God is and offered in faith without doubt.

Key points:

• Jabez's prayer was short and genuine; God cares about sincerity more than length, volume, or eloquence.
• Pray for blessing and expansion of your territory (provision and opportunity) and persist in such requests.
• Many don't receive because they do not ask (James 4:2).
• Know whom you are praying to — remember God's acts for Israel to deepen and ground your requests.
• Daily provision is meant to teach dependence on God; trust His continued care.
• When you ask, believe without doubting (James 1:6); sometimes a "no" or delay can itself be a blessing.
