Live on Mission | Pastor Daniel Floyd

Main message: Live on mission for Jesus by resisting the natural pull toward selfishness and instead giving your life away — motivated by heaven and Christ’s love — so you experience true purpose and eternal impact.

Key points:

• We naturally drift toward self-centeredness; the kingdom is upside-down — you find life by losing it for Jesus and the gospel.
• Motivation: keep heaven (storing up eternal treasure) and the love of Christ as the reasons you give your life away.
• Impact: you were made for more than yourself; live attractional (salt/light), compassionate, present with people, and ready to give a gentle answer for your hope.
• Participation: move from knowing to doing — use your God-given gifts to serve the church and the world; serving is a privilege ("we get to serve").
• There will be a future review and reward for how you used what God entrusted to you, so invest in eternal things now.
