Have you ever wondered why Goliath existed? #church #bible #truth #help #motivation

Main message: God allowed Goliath to live and grow strong so that David’s victory would reveal God's power and make known that there is a God in Israel—God uses permitted opposition to display His sovereignty and glory.

Key points:

• God could have eliminated Goliath sooner but allowed him for a purpose.
• The presence of a formidable enemy created an occasion for God to be glorified.
• David defeating Goliath would publicly show that God is on the throne.
• Trials and opponents can be instruments God uses to demonstrate His power through His people.
