Summary
Main message: God is for you — He proved it by not withholding His Son (Romans 8:31–32), and because of Christ’s sacrifice God will freely give believers all things in him. Believers should therefore live in reverence, ask boldly according to God’s generosity, and trust God’s timing and wisdom when blessings are delayed or withheld.
Key points:
- Romans 8:31–32 teaches that God delivered up His Son for “us all,” showing His universal offer and ultimate proof that He is for people, even sinners.
- Jesus’ willing sacrificial death (illustrated by Abraham/Isaac) shows there was no cost too great — our worth is proven by the price paid.
- “Freely give us all things” means gifts in Christ are not earned; ask broadly in line with God’s will and generosity.
- God may say “no” or “not now” for our good — blessings are tied to growth, stewardship, and walking uprightly (fear/reverence of God).
- If you have the Son you have everything in Christ (Philippians 4:19); the preacher listed many spiritual blessings available in Christ.
- Practical call: respond by faith (repentance, prayer, receiving Christ), pursue Scripture and church community for growth and accountability.
Scriptures mentioned: Romans 8:31–32, Genesis 22, John 3:16, Psalm 84:11, Psalm 34:9–10, Philippians 4:19
