Election Daily Prayer: Day 4 | Pray for California - Jack Hibbs

Main message: God is the ultimate lawgiver (Isaiah 33:22), so Christians should pray for legislators and the upcoming election so those who make laws will be led to enact righteous, God-honoring statutes. The speaker urges urgent prayer because this election may be a critical turning point for the nation.

Key points:

• Isaiah 33:22: the Lord is our judge, lawgiver, and king — ultimate authority over human lawmakers.
• In America the legislature (state legislatures and Congress/Senate) are the human lawgivers who craft laws.
• Many current laws are described as ungodly; when people lose faith, they enact bad laws.
• Pray that those elected to legislative office will be believers, people of good character, or be open to God's guidance.
• The speaker emphasizes praying for state and local races now, seeing this election as possibly a last call for the nation to choose rightly.
