Election Daily Prayer: Day 3 | Pray for California - Jack Hibbs

Main message: Pray for government leaders in the upcoming elections—especially for the election of righteous, God-fearing judges—because government is ordained by God and judges hold weighty authority that must reflect biblical justice.

Key points:

• Government is created by God and reflected throughout Scripture (Exodus, Judges, Kings).
• Isaiah 33:22 describes God as lawgiver, judge, and king; this triad influenced the founding concept of separation of powers.
• Many judges have overstepped by acting like executives or legislators; there is a need for judges who stick to their proper role and apply righteousness.
• Pray specifically for judges running for office and for the removal or replacement of unwise judges.
• Voters should pray, seek information about judicial candidates, and vote intentionally—not merely by feeling.

Scriptures mentioned: Exodus, Judges, Kings, Isaiah 33:22
