Main message: God grows and changes us little by little — sanctification is a slow, intentional process in which the Holy Spirit works to deepen our roots so we can withstand trials; we should be patient, cooperate with Him, and celebrate small, often unseen, progress.

• God often advances us gradually (Deut. 7:22); He knows what we can carry and is protecting and preparing us.
• Spiritual growth is a progression (seed → blade → ear → full grain); deep roots matter more than rapid visible growth.
• Justification is instant, but sanctification is ongoing — we must submit, repent, read Scripture, pray, and cooperate with the Spirit.
• Small victories (a changed reaction, answered phone, forgiving, praying instead of panicking) are real signs of growth and are celebrated by God.
• Don’t compare your spiritual chapter with someone else’s; God works in different seasons and times for each person.
• Trust the promise that God who began the good work will complete it; rely on Scripture and community to combat lies and discouragement.
